Originally from Kansas City, KS, I completed undergrad studies at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas in 1991, and Medical School at Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City, KS in 1995.
I moved to Phoenix in 1995 for my Internal Medicine Internship and Residency Programs at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center through 1998. After Graduating, I continued to work in Phoenix at various local hospitals as a Hospitalist through 2012.
I transitioned to outpatient practice at that time at Thunderbird Internal Medicine. After 7 years, they were bought by a large corporation, and I left the group. I have intermittently worked for other outpatient entities as an employee.
With wide ranging experience I have now pursued opening my own solo practice to hopefully deliver the kind of patient centered care that people are currently missing.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband, 2 dogs and traveling in our trailer camper. We like the outdoors and hike in Phoenix when the weather permits.
